Welcome
Headteacher's welcome.
It is with great joy that I welcome you to St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School.
Whether you are a prospective parent, a new family joining our school or a long-standing member of our community, we are delighted to have you visit our us through our website.
At St Augustine’s, we are proud to be a diverse and inclusive community, rooted in a strong Catholic ethos of love, faith and service. Inspired by the teachings of Jesus and guided by the example of St Augustine, we strive to ensure that every child feels valued, nurtured and supported to grow into the person God created them to be.
At the heart of our school culture are the St Augustine’s Values: Manners, Responsibility, Care & Compassion, Respect, Honesty & Truth, Peace, Patience & Tolerance, Thoughtfulness, Forgiveness & Justice and Friendship. These values shape our relationships, guide our learning and underpin every aspect of school life. They are lived out daily by our pupils, staff and families, creating a warm, respectful and joyful environment where all can thrive.
We believe that children flourish when they feel safe, loved and inspired. Our dedicated staff team works in partnership with parents, carers and the wider parish community to provide a rich, creative curriculum that nurtures curiosity, celebrates individuality and helps every child achieve their full potential – academically, socially and spiritually.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our wonderful school. I warmly invite you to come and visit us, to see for yourself the love, laughter and learning that make St Augustine’s such a special place.
With every blessing,
Mrs Sarah Roach
