Tuesday - Science

Tuesday 5th January 2021

Today we are starting our electricity topic.

Our first task will be looking at whether household objects are electrical or not.

There are two ways in which you can complete this activity, the first is to go around your house and write down a list of some items that are electrical and some items that are not electrical.

The second way is you can look at the worksheet below and write whether each item is electrical or not. It is completely up to you which way you want to do this. We will be discussing different items in our zoom.

For our second task, we will be looking at whether electricity produces movement, heat, light or sound. Have a look at all of the pictures below. See whether you can match them correctly. Remember they might have more than one category they can match with. We will be going through the answers on Zoom.

As much our science topic about electricity involves practical lessons and experiments, we will begin our next topic - Living Things and their Habitats. When we are all back in school we will go back and cover the rest of the electricity topic.

Follow the link below and watch the video.

Next write down as many different types of habitats as you can think of and a list of animals you think might live there!
