If your child struggles with the homework, please contact me via Dojo and I will help them through the parts that they do not understand. Throughout the term, there will be Topic homework given out too.
Spellings are taught on the Monday morning and a handout will be given out on the same day for children to learn through the week. Spelling tests are on the Friday.
Reading Books and library books will be changed every Friday. Please sign their reading record books and leave comments when you read with them.
Year 4/5 have three basic rules in class that we follow:
- Be Honest
- Try your Best
- Respect Everyone and Everything in the Classroom
These rules are in place to ensure that the working environment is perfect for learning, growing as people and also being the best you can possibly be!
This year all children will need the support of everyone around them to have a successful year. Please can you help by ensuring that:
- Children have correct school uniform that has names on the tags.
- Children read their reading and library books
- Children do their homework and spellings
- Children know all of their times tables up to 12×12
- Contacting me on Dojo or trying to catch me after school, if you need any help with anything.
Anything and everything you do will be greatly appreciated by all of us.
